I built Standard Equity because I got tired of choosing between Yahoo Finance and a Bloomberg Terminal.
Retail-investor tools fall into two camps. On one end: free tools that show you a P/E ratio and call it analysis. On the other end: institutional terminals that cost USD $24,000 a year and assume you have a junior analyst sitting next to you who already speaks the language.
Neither is right for the people in the middle — individual investors who do their own research, read 10-Ks for fun, want data presented honestly with the unknowns labeled, and don't need a sales rep to log in for them.
Standard Equity is the tool I wished existed when I was that person.
Standard Equity is built and maintained by Jden Redden, solo. No VCs, no growth team, no advertising-funded model — just one person iterating on a problem they care about, paid for directly by the people who find it useful.
Email: hello@standard-equity.report. I read everything that comes in.
Standard Equity is not investment advice. It's a research tool. The reports help you understand a company faster — they don't tell you whether to buy it. That's your job, and it should be.
It's also not a real-time trading platform, a portfolio tracker, or a brokerage. Use it as a fast first pass before you read the actual filings.
Roadmap is public. See the changelog for what just shipped and the methodology page for how the analysis works under the hood. Suggestions are welcome at hello@standard-equity.report.
